Designed for the outdoors, the smart surface-mounted socket with power consumption metering features Matter-over-Thread technology, emanating with user-friendliness, robust security and seamless integration. Fixed to an exterior wall, basement or garage, Eve Energy Outdoor powers, controls and automates a wide range of devices. The IP44-rated plug is available from Eve (www.evehome.com/store) and Amazon for 79.95 Euro including VAT. Like all Eve products with Matter, Eve Energy Outdoor is not limited to the Apple Home ecosystem, but can be used on all major platforms.

Smart monitoring, convenient energy management 

Eve Energy Outdoor can manage a variety of devices, from lights to pumps to e-bike chargers. Control is available via voice commands, the preferred app, the built-in switch, remote access or automations based on location, time and sensor activity. Eve Energy Outdoor shines with numerous energy management features: Power monitoring is enabled by SmartThings Energy on the Samsung SmartThings platform, as well as the Eve app for iPhone and iPad. The latter even measures and logs the energy production of balcony solar panels. In addition, after entering your personal electricity rate, the app can predict consumption costs or savings, and output measurement results in tabular form. To ensure that the plug always switches at the desired time, the Eve app can create autonomous schedules and activate a child lock that disables the button on the device.
