HiI'm thinking of using this to monitor an external manhole outside of a basement for potential backflow / flooding. Can I use a standard audio phono extension cable to reach the manhole (therefore avoiding false alarms from rainfall) and coil and fix the white detection cable inside the manhole, above the usual water level?
