Is the sensing cable sensitive enough for damp (as opposed to outright wet)? I'd like to put it on my ceiling, so that if there is a leak from my upstairs neighbor I get notified. The floors are separated by a 25 cm thick cement slab and the chances of me putting the cable exactly where water will drop out are practically zero, but the chances of me putting the cable where there will be increased humidity patches (as the water from upstairs will spread out before dripping through) are high - will the cable being in contact with these damp patches be sufficient to trigger the alarm?
