Eve Energy is the first smart plug with metering in Switzerland based on Matter-over-Thread, which makes it particularly user-friendly, secure and easy to set up. The technology offers benefits such as plug-and-play interoperability and platform independence. In households that rely on Apple Home, Eve Energy can measure the power consumption of devices and calculate a cost forecast in conjunction with the Eve app for iPhone and iPad.

The Swiss version of Eve Energy has a form factor specifically designed for type J sockets and is now available to order from specialist retailers for CHF 49.95.

App & Voice Control, Automation, Energy Monitoring

With Eve Energy, lamps or appliances can be switched on and off at the touch of a finger, by voice command or directly via the built-in switch. Using the Home Hub as the control center of the smart home, the smart socket can even be controlled while on the move or via automation: For example, Eve Energy switches on at a certain time when a sensor such as Eve Motion detects movement or as soon as someone arrives home. Communication works completely locally and without any cloud or registration, so that the users' privacy is always protected. On the Apple Home platform via the Eve app for iPhone and iPad and on the Samsung SmartThings platform via SmartThings Energy, Eve Energy helps to increase energy efficiency by monitoring power consumption and saving energy costs.

Thread technology is specifically developed for smart home applications to improve connectivity between devices.
